Patricia Rush

Patricia Rush received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Mississippi.  She then received a fellowship to complete her Masters of Communication Disorders (MCD), also at Ole Miss, which she received with Honors.  She then went on to complete Clinical Fellowships in speech pathology and audiology.  Ms. Rush took a position at the Meridian Speech and Hearing Center and rose to be the Center’s Director.

Ms. Rush then moved to Jackson, MS, where, over the next 30 year, while raising a family, she held numerous positions providing speech pathology and audiology services in both in and outpatient settings.  She was also a member of the faculty at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and School in the Department of Otolaryngology.  She has also had numerous consulting positions.  Ms. Rush is currently in private practice.

Throughout her career she has received extensive continuing education in audiology and speech pathology services with a focus on amplification for persons with hearing disorders and evaluation/therapy for persons with voice disorders.

Tricia likes to travel and experience culinary delights.  She and her husband enjoy their children, grandchildren and valued pets equally.
