Stan Phillips MD, AAO-HNS

Dr. Phillips graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Biology. He achieved honors in all 4 years. He attended ECU school of medicine and after graduation went to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for a one year research fellowship in inner ear pathophysiology. He completed a one year internship in general surgery and four years of otolaryngology training at the University of Maryland.

He started a solo ENT practice in the Charlotte NC area, where he has grown his practice over the last 20 years, developing a busy hearing aid practice as well. His primary interests include basic ENT including pediatrics, but also the academic side as well. While in medical school he was a teaching assistant for 3 years in Neuroanatomy, and pursued multiple research projects in anatomy . In addition  to the research he performed at Johns Hopkins he taught medical terminology and again was a teaching assistant in Neuroanatomy . He has a very keen interest in tinnitus treatment and hearing loss, as well as misophonia.

He is fluent in French, having grown up in France, and has a love for travel and golf.
